What does Recovery mean?

To recover from a mental health challenge means different things to different people. For the homemaker it may mean being able to take the kids to school; for the breadwinner recovery may mean being able to go back to work.

Recovery is speedier when you make that connection. Have the courage to hope. Do things to strengthen your identity, know what it means when you’ve recovered and learn new skills to remain mentally healthy.

Recovery is about what you CAN do not what’s wrong with you. It is a process and the tools you need to remain mentally healthy and lead a fulfilling life.

Mission

  1. To foster a culture where people can freely talk about mental health
  2. To facilitate a person’s own recovery towards mental wellness

Values

Honesty

Collaboration

Courage
